Mission
To provide personalized physiotherapy treatment to improve
the quality of life in individuals suffering from musculo-skeletal
impairments.
Credentials
1997: Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from
the University of Toronto
1999: Certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy
by the McKenzie Institute
2000: Completion of the Acupuncture Foundation of
Canada Institute (AFCI) examination to achieve CAFCI designation
2003: Certified Active Release Therapy (ART) Provider
Biography
Wendy has worked in various setting from hospitals to private physiotherapy
clinics. She began working with AFCI in 2003 to instruct students
on proper acupuncture technique and in 2007 she became a lecturer.
Wendy continues to further her education through post-graduate courses
and enjoys adding new tools to her repertoire of treatment techniques.
Wendy loves all outdoor activities. She has competed in adventure
races (a team sport including mountain biking, hiking, running, canoeing,
kayaking, mountaineering, and orienteering) between 24hrs to 6 days
in length. She loves working with people and achieves great satisfaction
when she can help them continue on with or return to their pre-injury
activities.
